Ignoring users in the Google Workspace integration
Below is a step-by-step guide that shows you how to ignore users, services, and groups one by one or in bulk, as well as how to unignore them.
This is not mandatory, but it can help you get an improved overview of synced and not synced users from your Google Workspace domain.
Ignore one-by-one
Click Ignore on the right-hand side of the user you want Substly to ignore.
As you click Ignore, the user is filtered out from the list immediately.
π’ This is useful for quickly excluding individual users such as service accounts, former employees, or irrelevant user profiles.
Bulk-ignore
Use the filters to display only the users you want to bulk-ignore.
For example, filter by Status or Organizational Unit.Tick the checkboxes on the left side of the list to mark users for ignore.
You can also use the checkbox at the top of the list to select all visible users.Once selected, click Ignore [X] users to ignore them in one go.
β Bulk-ignore is especially useful in large organizations or after syncing a new group for the first time.
Unignore users
Ignored users are not shown by default, but you can view and unignore them using filters.
In the Status filter, choose Ignored to show hidden users.
Click Unignore to re-include a user in sync and usage monitoring.
π’ Once unignored, the user will reappear in all relevant lists and dashboards in Substly.
