Why is usage data missing?
If Substly cannot retrieve usage data from your Entra ID, it is likely due to missing permissions. This may result in:
Reduced visibility into usage levels.
Fewer users are automatically linked to services.
Cause of the issue
The user who activated the integration does not have the necessary permissions in Entra ID for Substly to read usage data.
How to fix it
To resolve this, the user who activated the integration needs to be assigned one of the following roles in Entra ID:
Global Reader
Reports Reader
Security Administrator
Security Operator
Security Reader
What happens after the change?
You don't need to do anything else once the user has been assigned one of these roles. Substly will automatically start retrieving usage data.
Alternative solution
If another user already has one of these permissions in Entra ID, you can:
Deactivate the integration.
Re-enable it using the other user.
