Automatic

This plan type contains forecasted costs derived from the financial data you've provided. It's automatically generated upon importing financial data if no forecasted costs have been added previously.

Subscription

The subscription type applies when you pay a recurring price at regular intervals for access to a product or service e.g $10/month. Most common are intervals of one month or one year.

Cost per User

Some services have a payment model where you pay a subscription fee for each user of that service. Choosing this option means that the amount you set below will be multiplied for each user connected to the service.

Consumption-based Cost

Consumption based cost or metered services, is any type of payment structure in which you have access to potentially unlimited resources but only pay for what you actually use, e.g. $5 per Gb of data or $10 each time you download a document.

Lifetime

Lifetime or one-time, payment models applies when you pay once to get access to a service and then it is yours to use for as long as you like. Such as lifetime access to a software or hardware purchases.

Free plan

Applies to services you are not paying for. Keeping track of your free services doesn't save you money but it does help you to prevent unwanted access to your company's data and keep track of on-boarding and off-boarding.
