Trial periods in Substly

Written by Ola Stål

Trial lengths

When you sign up for Substly, you may get access to a trial period.

Your trial starts on the Monitor plan and typically runs for 30 days. After 30 days, you need to commit to an ongoing subscription to continue using this plan.

Some features in Substly are only available on the Optimize plan. As usage and license optimization requires more time for data collection, you can start a longer 60-day trial of these features at any time during - or after - your initial trial.

In short:

  • Monitor → 30 days from signup.

  • Optimize → 60 days from the moment you activate it.

  • After 30 days, the basic Monitor plan requires a commitment if you want to continue.

Differences between the plans

  • Monitor helps you detect new SaaS in use, and manage all services in one place.

  • Optimize builds on that by providing insights into how employees actually use your tools. It gives you features to optimize licenses, improve off-boarding, reduce waste and strengthen compliance.
